latin translation The best languages to learn in 2018 were spoken in almost all of Latin America and the Caribbean and in the United States and Canada, according to data collected by a new study.
The study, which focused on over 1.4 million English speakers worldwide, found that nearly half of all English-language learners said they learned the language in a language that was spoken in more than 30 countries.
In addition, more than three-quarters of the English-speaking world spoke more than one language, with nearly 60 percent of respondents identifying as English-Speaking, French-speaking, Spanish-speaking or Portuguese-speaking.
The findings, which were published in the journal Language and Culture, came from a global survey conducted by the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the World Language Centre in partnership with Google.
The survey found that Spanish was the most commonly spoken language among native speakers, followed by English, French, German and Portuguese.
The study also found that the number of English-speakers who spoke more languages increased from 2.3 million in 2010 to 3.9 million in 2020.
The World Language Center study, based on information from the Pew Research Center, also found Spanish to be the most popular language among college students in the U.S., with nearly half the respondents identifying themselves as Spanish-language speakers.
